Connect an AI Model

02

Choose a cloud API, a local PC model, or the built-in option to review Solidity contracts. Every prompt goes only to the endpoint you pick.

Choose Your Model Source

Cloud API Provider

Send prompts to a cloud provider through a standard API endpoint. The model sees your file text and context, so data leaves your PC. This option works well when you need larger models for harder steps.

Local PC Model

Run a model directly on your Windows machine using your own hardware. Nothing leaves your computer, so your contract code stays private. This setup is ideal for reviewing sensitive code without sending it over the network to a third-party provider.

Built-in Model

Use the built-in model that is ready to use without your own endpoint.

Test Your Connection

Press the Test button to check your chosen endpoint. The app shows the response time and the context window size. This quick check confirms the model is reachable before you start reviewing your Solidity smart contracts.

Pick the Right Model

Use a bigger model for complex logic refactors or hard security flaws. Use a smaller model for small edits or quick checks. You can send a hard step to a bigger model using the run_on_model orchestration skill when the task gets difficult.

Quality varies between models, so always review the diff. Use Ask first to pause before actions that change something. You can see the proposed fix and decide whether to accept it before the agent writes the file.
